Spotted Lanterfly Honeydew Honey

Spotted Lanternfly Honeydew honey is a distinct varietal honey produced when our bees collect the sweet elixir produced by Spotted Lanternflies. The Spotted Lanternfly was initially discovered in Reading in 2014 and has subsequently expanded throughout Pennsylvania and other eastern states. This invasive species poses significant risks to agricultural crops, native vegetation, and local ecosystems. We do not tolerate Spotted Lanternflies in our area and support efforts to eradicate them.
